Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PharmaLens ("the Service"), operated by Saira Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PharmaLens provides structured access to publicly available pharmaceutical regulatory data from Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA). The Service includes a searchable database, API access, data export tools, and email alerts, depending on your subscription plan.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data without written permission.
  • Use automated systems to scrape or bulk-download data beyond API rate limits.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits and fair use policies. Abuse of the API may result in throttling or suspension of access.

7. Data Accuracy

PharmaLens aggregates data from publicly available PMDA sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of the data. The Service is not a substitute for official regulatory filings or professional regulatory advice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by Saira Inc. The underlying regulatory data is sourced from PMDA and is publicly available.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saira Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
